Symbols at the top include a Jewish Star of David, a Christian cross, and a Roma "dharmachakra" wheel.
Translation: "The star is at the beginning, the star is at the end, our furrows are red."
Symbol at the bottom: a Yugoslav star.
This text references an earlier version of this plaque before it was stolen, which featured only two Yugoslavian stars (one top and one bottom) and no other symbols. "Furrow" refers to a long, narrow trench made in the ground by a plow, a common theme of inspiration for spomeniks in this area of Serbia. "Red" refers to the iconic color commonly used by communism and socialist parties and states.
