Hidden in the Bulgarian forest, a short drive from Sofia, is an abandoned military base that was once used as a nuclear warhead storage facility. At least 11 other identical facilities were built across Warsaw Pact countries, including East Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Hungary.
Once full of FROG rockets and Scud missiles, they now sit empty, abandoned, and nearly forgotten.
